Ductile iron pipe is a type of cast iron, an alloy of iron, carbon, and silicon. In ductile iron, graphite exists in a spherical form, typically with a size of 6-7 grades. Quality requirements dictate that the spheroidization grade of the cast pipe be controlled at 1-3 grades (spheroidization rate ≥80%), thus significantly improving the material's mechanical properties. It possesses the essence of iron and the performance of steel. Annealed ductile iron pipes have a microstructure of ferrite with a small amount of pearlite, resulting in good mechanical properties. Ductile iron pipes are mainly referred to as centrifugal ductile iron pipes. They possess the essence of iron and the performance of steel, exhibiting excellent corrosion resistance, good ductility, good sealing performance, and easy installation. They are primarily used for water supply, gas transmission, and oil transportation in municipal and industrial applications. They are the preferred choice for water supply pipes, offering high cost-effectiveness. Compared to PE pipes, ductile iron pipes are simpler and faster to install, and offer better internal and external pressure resistance after installation. In terms of sealing and corrosion resistance, ductile iron pipes provide better sealing after installation and can be further enhanced with various anti-corrosion measures. Regarding hydraulic performance, since ductile iron pipe specifications generally refer to the inner diameter, while PE pipe specifications generally refer to the outer diameter, ductile iron pipes can achieve a larger flow rate under the same specifications. Finally, considering overall installation and maintenance costs, ductile iron pipes offer a superior cost-performance ratio. (Inner wall zinc spraying, cement mortar anti-corrosion materials, etc.)

Q1: Can you provide us sample, is it free or need to pay?

A1: Free for standard items, only need to charge Express fee properly.(No need charge the express fee if you have your freight collect account like Fedex Dhl TNT)Customized samples need to charge sample fee.

Q2: What is the lead time for samples?

A2: 5-7days after get sample fee.

Q3: What is the lead time for delivery?
