Galvanized steel strand is a metal product made of multiple galvanized steel wires twisted together. It implements the national standard YB/T 5004-2012 and is mainly used in the fields of power transmission line ground wire, building structure cable, etc. Its core characteristics include high strength (tensile strength 1270-1670MPa), corrosion resistance and stability.

Galvanized steel strand usually adopts a right-hand lay structure, and the lay length does not exceed 14 times the diameter. According to the number of steel wires, it can be divided into 1×3, 1×7, 1×19 and other structures. Among them, the 7-wire (1×7) structure is the most widely used in power engineering due to its mature process and moderate cost. ‌

It is mainly used for power transmission line ground wire, pole tower cable and building structure cable, and the anti-corrosion performance is improved by the galvanized layer. In power engineering, GJ-35 to GJ-180 series specifications are widely used, among which GJ-100 has become the mainstream choice due to its comprehensive performance balance. ‌

The current standards include the national standard YB/T 5004-2012 and the State Grid enterprise standard Q/GDW 13236.5-2019, which have clear requirements for parameters such as galvanized layer thickness, twisting process, and breaking force.

Q1: Can you provide us sample, is it free or need to pay?

A1: Free for standard items, only need to charge Express fee properly.(No need charge the express fee if you have your freight collect account like Fedex Dhl TNT)Customized samples need to charge sample fee.
